- A Senior Section Engineer (SSE) when promoted becomes Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADEN). Please note that ADEN is also a gazette officer. After two consecutive promotions ADEN becomes Divisional Engineer (DEN). Finally a PWS can become Senior Divisional Engineer (Sr.DEN)
